After three years of preparation we finally launched the first BetOnBowler’s event at Sam’s Town (August 5&6, 2006). All participants had a blast competing in every potgame and most players won lots of bowling gear and other prizes.

Handicap Division

Kyle Hersant from Wittenberg, Wisconson won the Handicap Division with a total score of 1515 (1341 +174 hdcp) to take home $250.00 He also won two potgames for $100.00 each for a total of $450.00, two VirtualTournament.com entries ($30 value) and he won the free B.O.B. entry ($160 value) for the early entry contest (courtesy of VirtualTournaments.com).

Randy Huffman won three VirtualTournaments.com entries ($45 Value) one potgame for $100.00 and since he just missed the cut he won the Lane #1 ball with a total score of 1509. Randy also won another Lane #1 ball for placing 2nd in the potgame area during the first game, plus he won the KR Strikeforce bag as well as the Brunswick ball in the Pickaplayer contest.

James Rosello won a VirtualTournaments.com entry ($15 value), two potgames for $200.00, he received $42.50 for third place and he won the Columbia 300 ball for the highest score in the 3-game qualifying round.

Dale Hanke won the NXT shirt for the early entry contest, a Rotogrip shirt in the potgame area, a VirtualTournaments.com entry ($15 value), plus he won the Brunswick ball for placing second in potgame #2. He also won the Dynothane ball in the potgame area and the Track ball in the Pickaplayer contest.

James Wright won $100.00 for the 5th potgame, two VirtualTournaments.com entries ($30 value), the Storm Ball for placing 2nd in the potgame area and the Donkee ball spinner for placing second in the bowler potgame area during game #6.

Linda Huffman won a NXT shirt, a Turbogrip shirt, a Storm shirt and Rotogrip shirt in the potgame area, plus she won the Etonic Stabilite shoes in the Pickaplayer contest and a VirtualTournaments.com entry ($15 value).

Celestino Jones won a NXT shirt, the Visionary Ball for game #1 in the Pickaplayer contest, a VirtualTournaments.com entry ($15 value) and one spectator (Tammy) won the Hammer ball for game #2.

Scratch Division

David Haynes from Las Vegas, Nevada captured first place in the scratch division with a whopping 1482 for six games for $250.00. He also won a potgame for $125 for a total of $375.00. He won the Lane #1 Ball, the Storm ball and the Dynothane ball for placing second in the potgame area and he won the Etonic shoes for game #4 in the Pickaplayer contest. His wife Dotty won the Brunswick ball for game #6 in the Pickaplayer contest and he won two VirtualTournaments.com entries ($30 value).

Second place went to Joe Merrill with a 1436. He also won two potgames for a total of $390, a VirtualTournament.com entry ($15 value) and the KR Strikeforce 3-ball bag in the Pickaplayer contest.

Rick Bernard just missed the cut with a 1407 series to win the Lane #1 ball, plus he won two potgames $250, the Donkee Ball Spinner, the Columbia 300 ball for high qualifier and two VirtualTournament.com entries ($30 value).

Paul Enright won one potgame for $125, a Brunswick ball during game two and two VirtualTournament.com entries ($30 value).

Kevin Gagnon Won the Ebonite ball in the third game in the Potgame area and four VirtualTournament.com entries ($60 value).

Kyle Hersant won an NXT shirt, a Turbogrips towel and two VirtualTournament.com entries ($30 value), Randy Huffman won an NXT Bowler shirt, Storm shirt, Dark Thunder Towel and a VirtualTournaments.com entry. Dale Hanke won a Rotogrip shirt and a VirtualTournaments.com entry and Barry Brown won a VirtualTournament.com entry.

More spectators won sponsor contributions for the Pickaplayer contest during the Scratch event. Tammy won the Visionary ball, Cynthia won the ball by Hammer and the Dark Thunder ball from CalBowlingSupply.com and Dotty Haynes won the Brunswick ball.

Additional sponsor contributions (NXT shirts, Rotogrip shirts) were won in the final drawing after game 6.
